This two-day course is a fantastic way to spend a summer weekend, learning about native bee biology and identification with a whole classroom filled with other bee lovers. We have one classroom day looking at  bee specimens under low power digital microscopes and a field day learning about bee survey techniques and observing rare bees and plants in local ecosystems.  You will learn common bees to genera, and common bumble bees to species, as well as learning about sociality, nesting, and pollen preferences.
