The Essential Fisheries Field Skills Certificate Program (EFFS) is a two-week training course focused on practical skills and knowledge related to salmonid biology and fish identification, fisheries field techniques, fish and fish habitat inventory and assessment (both qualitative and quantitative), electrofishing certification, and water quality sampling and monitoring.
