In recent years, Canadians have started listening to the Indigenous voices that had been silenced for so long. While this is prompting many to want to act in reconciliation collectively, a key message from many of these voices is that we must first fully engage with “truth” in order to make reconciliation possible and meaningful. Truth and Reconciliation in Canada is a process aimed at acknowledging and addressing the historical injustices inflicted upon Indigenous peoples. It seeks to uncover the truth about past atrocities, foster healing and reconciliation, and pave the way for a more equitable future. Webinar presented by EGBC.
