Dust suppressants used to control dust on unpaved roads can range from water to palliative materials including solutions based on sodium chloride (NaCl), calcium chloride (CaCl2), and magnesium chloride (MgCl2), lignin and asphalt emulsions, and organic / natural solutions. In this session delivered by ESCABC, presenters will compare the performance, efficiency, and environmental impact of the most commonly used dust suppressants.
