This course offers practical training in both field and laboratory settings, focusing on the identification of sedges and rushes at the species level. Participants will engage with plant nomenclature and practice using identification keys. Upon completion, individuals will have experience in identifying unknown species, which may be applicable in areas such as applied biology, environmental consulting, and ecological research.
