NRTG’s Large River Fish – Hazards Working in Large Rivers MicroCourse, spanning four hours, delivers in-depth training in an easily digestible format. It’s designed to maximize participants skills for immediate application. What are the everyday risks and effective operating procedures for people working downstream? In this course, participants will delve into how to conduct boat work safely despite the dangers of fires, earthquakes, and landslides. Students will learn how to operate safely in the snow at night in a jet boat or an electrofishing boat while the flow rises and falls with ramping. How to avoid surface and underwater hazards in the dark and in adverse daylight conditions will also be included.
