Changes to ID verification requirements

In June 2022, the College implemented a requirement for registrants to provide proof of identification. This was done to ensure that we have accurate information about registrants in our register.

The College has reviewed these requirements and has decided that going forward we will only require proof of identity at the time of registration or if a registrant changes their name. As of June 2024, registrants will no longer need to upload new proof of identification when their identification expires.

This change will reduce the administrative burden for registrants and staff, while maintaining an accurate register.

Please note that the bylaws continue to require registrants to immediately notify the College if there are changes to their name or other information contained in the register.
