SUMMARY:Lunch 'n' Learn Closing the Loop: Recycling Land Clearing into Compost for ESC Slope Stabilization and Revegetation
DESCRIPTION:During this educational Lunch & Learn opportunity with Denbow\, participants will discuss Closed Loop Development for compost creation. Presenters will walk attendees through the entire process\, starting with the standards in place for harvested clean green forest debris\, and moving into how it’s blended to create Premium Nature Based Products. They will discuss how these products can be integrated into Nature Based Solutions for Erosion and Sediment Control\, Slope Stabilization\, Revegetation and Environmental Landscaping. Presented by ESCABC.

SUMMARY:BC CESCL Course
DESCRIPTION:The BC-CESCL course is designed to help practitioners understand how to manage erosion and sediment control on their construction projects and understand their obligations under government legislation. Although it most relevant for the “boots on the ground” site personnel and new ESC professionals\, site monitors often take the course and benefit from expanding their knowledge. The two-day course and exam covers erosion and sedimentation processes\, regulatory requirements\, understanding erosion and sediment control plans\, best management practices\, inspections\, and record-keeping.
